Obesity Surgery
The fight to control our weight is a constant struggle for many of us.
There is now a branch of medicine which deals with the cause, prevention and treatment of obesity. In some cases bariatric surgery is an option.
In the stateline, as elsewhere, the most popular kind of bariatric, or weight control, surgery is laproscopy.
Procedures and techniques are continually improving but follow through by patients after surgery is also very important.
